Shad on fly.

Sunday I hit the St. Johns for some fun fly fishing for shad. Had a good time. I was also able to bring back a dozen or so butter cats for dinner too. This will have to be able to satisfy my thirst for the outdoors until the winds die down and I can get back on that Atlantic.  Here are some shots of Gators waiting for a hand out. i had six withing a stones through all over 8 feet long which made it interesting for releasing fish as well as landing them. Needless to say I lost a few hooks. Also here is a picture of a big redfish hanging out waiting for an afternoon snack.
